A reflective starting point
What is Ten of Cups — Satiety asking you to look at?
Meaning changes with the position, the surrounding cards and your question. Take what follows as a language, not a verdict.
Upright
Fullness and completion: enjoy the result, but prepare wisely for the next cycle.
At first sight
Emotional fullness, completion, emotional success. It points to the culmination of a happiness which, precisely because it is complete, prepares a change.
Within you
Fullness that risks becoming satiety: having everything you wanted can generate a new emptiness. It asks you to cultivate gratitude without clinging.
On the path
Water in Malkuth, with Mars in Pisces in the third decan: Martial fire disturbs the perfection of the waters. Satiety is completion that carries the seed of rupture, because what is full can only overflow.
The shadow
Ill-dignified, it signals boredom, excess, waste, the squandering of what you have obtained.
Reversed
In the Thoth tradition a reversed card is read through its dignity with the neighbouring cards; this is its shadow side.
Satiety, dissatisfaction, a wish for change; or difficulty recognising how much you already have.
In love, work and spirit
Love. Family harmony, affections fulfilled; beware of routine that puts out desire.
Work. The culmination of a project, full success; it is time to think about renewal.
Spirit. Completion as opening: the full cup must be offered in order to be filled again.

Crowley's note
Crowley arranges ten cups on the Tree of Life, dominated by red tones; the highest cup tips, showing that fullness is about to spill.
